Zine Cover page

My imagined event is not scene on the cover page, it is going to be what i think dogs would wear in philadelphia. I am going to have dogs dressed in Eagles jerseys, Sixers Jerseys and in Phillies jerseys. Also in funny costumes like water ice, a pretzel and a cheese steak. Then I am going to figure out the quintessential philadelphian dog.

I found many interesting articles as i searched the web. Since i refined my topic to dogs in paris, or rather Puppies in Paris; but dogs in paris was easier to search for my topic. The first article i came across was named "How Parisians Live; Dogs in Paris?" by  David Applefield. The new insight that I got from this article was that if a dog weights a certain amount and is in a carrying bag he is allowed to go on a train, but you have to buy the dog a ticket. I thought this was a cute article and it gave me a little insight about travel in Paris. My next article is called, "The Dogs of Paris," found at workingdogweb.com, written by Barbara Petura. The new insights that I have learned from this article are that most dogs found in paris are small in size and short of leg. Some examples that they said were Small spaniels, toy poodles, papillons, wee terriers, and French bulldogs. This article had many great details and ideas about how the Persians treated their dogs.

My Logos

I made my logos first, so for my words i wanted to stay in the color family with the pinks. It was harder for me to make the words i feel like. Some of my words i have heard other places, or i just expanded on them. i think these words would be for dog clothing or a cute little dog boutique. 

My logos were very fun to make. since pink is my favorite color i loved making these very girly logos. they all relate to my topic since they are al dog related.

this is the sketch of the drawing with the colors all filled in. the different gradations are light brown to a darker brown. I liked this sketch of the dog because it was cute and lovable and i think my topic expresses cuteness and lovable dogs.

Anything goes

I used this picture because i havn't used it yet in a picture that i photo shopped.

This is my finished image of the Eiffel tower and many of the dogs. I used many layers and changed the hue and saturation of each dog. I then changed the contrast of the background. I also added some neon fresco to the background as well. this relates yo my topic because it is pictures of dogs that i took and i put them into paris.

Color Management

For this picture I started off by brightening the whole thing. I then proceeded to brighten up and fix the contrast of the graffiti pictures. After I was done with that I fixed the contrast of the sofa and made it a little big darker. Finally, I made the television darker since it is a really black television.

For this picture I changed the whole saturation of the picture just a little. Similar to me first picture i changed the Saturation and the Hue of both graffiti pictures drastically, changing the colors a lot. I then thought that a red carpet would look good with the red pillows so I changed the color of the carpet using color moderation.

I am not exactly sure what my topic is, but for right now it is things I like that are mostly in my daily life. I think the changes that I did make my picture relate more to my topic because I like bright colors.
